Steph in Ghana: Tales from a Development Volunteer Stories from my time as a VSO volunteer

A balance between personal experiences and the work she did in Ghana “supporting a local, ethical business to market and sell their natural cosmetics made from organic shea butter and …helping women shea nut collectors and processors to become financially independent and become better at business”. It is through her blog that I learned the amazing benefits and uses of shea butter and which brought me to buy pure shea butter from a small business; if you are interested in learning more about small business, small-scale farming and/or shea butter, then this is a great blog for you to peruse!

WHAT AM I DOING HERE? Thoughts from an agricultural development gal in Ghana

Her writing is critical and far more than just a travel blog. Yes, you get some of her personal experiences, but for the most part, you learn about the work she did in Ghana, while getting a thought-provoking critical analysis of both her work and the development/voluntourism industry as a whole. If you are interested in development work, voluntourism, foreign aid, then this is a great blog for you to peruse!
